New novel tells of looming, worldwide earthquake disaster
Seth Archer wakes up suddenly from a violent and recurring nightmare. Shortly after, he is contacted by an Elder in the Hopi Indian Nation who introduces him to his spirit guide and his own Psychic abilities. He continues his studies with the elder and learns to travel through time and space. Meanwhile, geologists at the University of California at Berkeley, Henry Baxter and his assistant, Graham Walters, make a horrifying discovery. Nuclear testing in India has cracked the Earth's mantle. The United States has recently suffered a severe earthquake on the New Madrid Fault, which runs from the Great Lakes to the Gulf of Mexico on the Mississippi River. When Baxter and Walters try to convince the President that the cracked mantle poses a major threat, he is too busy with the emergency to take notice. Seth realizes the nightmare he has been having is prophetic, and a trip though space reveals a secret. When he learns of Baxter and Walter's research, he meets them, and the three men join up to try and convince the administration of the threat. Epicenter concludes with Seth witnessing an earthquake that hits with such magnitude that it spreads thousands of miles beyond the epicenter, causing the eastern seaboard to cave into the Atlantic Ocean. A riveting first installment of a powerful science fiction series, Lee's Epicenter weaves a gripping storyline about modern science with interesting spiritual ideas. Lee began his career in the U.S. Navy, where he spent 16 years as a counselor in a variety of areas. He spent time in both the Philippines and California counselling people about drugs and alcohol addiction. In addition to the four-part series that kicks off with Epicenter, he has published the first book of a three-part nonfiction series that begins with Beyond Knowing, a book that highlights the common thread between major religions.
Reviews:"Is Anyone Listening?" "Why do they blame me? It wasn't my fault they chose to stay behind. They're the ones who didn't believe in the warnings." So begins the story of Seth Archer who lives between serenity in the holistic center he and his wife are forming and the horrific dreams he has that are becoming reality. For Seth, with the assistance of some Native American elders and scientific friends/acquaintances, knows that the recent nuclear explosion has caused the earth's crater to shatter. The impending earthquakes could literally destroy the world as human beings know it. Who exactly is Seth Archer and who are those gathered together on his ranch? Is their mission far greater than a remote healing conference center? This book is quite simply - fascinating! Seth learns to use some inner powers to see his surrounding spirit guides and heed their wisdom about his own thinking, feelings, and spiritual connections. He also teaches others, as he learns each phase, the same physical/spiritual realities. Little do Seth and Kako, his wife, realize what they are preparing for, the survival of a segment of humanity. Far from being a new age collection of babble, this novel will mesmerize every reader with the finely crafted plot, which has enough adrenaline-pumping and soothly flowing to satisfy every reader. Question what you read? Yes, but do a little experimentation as well. For there is deeper wisdom within this book than another "thriller" (which the novel also is, certainly). Terrific writing, Brent Lee! Wonderful truth!
Viviane Crystal "A Spiritual End-of-the-World Thriller! "EPICENTER tells the action-packed story of two men, whose lives intersect as a terrible crisis befalls the world. Seth Archer informs his friends and holistic healing staff in the mountains near Los Angeles of dreams he's had about cataclysmic earth changes when he sees television news coverage showing his dreams to be real. Seth begins a journey in which he meets spirit guides, sees auras, and discovers the shocking truth behind what is happening to the world. Meanwhile, in Berkeley, California, Dr. Henry Baxter, head of UC Berkeley's Geology department, makes the horrifying discovery that the Earth's mantle has been cracked by a routine underground nuclear test in India... and that there is absolutely nothing that can be done to prevent the inevitable destruction that is bound to come. "As Seth Archer and Dr. Henry Baxter do their best to notify people of the full scale of the impending disasters, they find their messages met with reactions ranging from disbelief and denial to short-sighted opportunism. Fortunately, some people are willing to listen, and EPICENTER tells their story as they strive to make the best of a very challenging situation. "What I like best about EPICENTER is the way this story shares fascinating insights into working with spirit guides and subtle energy fields. I love the way that talking with spirit guides is treated as being perfectly normal, and the way the insights discovered through these spirit conversations is immediately practical and wise. EPICENTER is the perfect book for anyone who loves end-of-the-world thrillers, especially ones containing profound spiritual truth."

Back Cover:
At the same time, Professor Henry Baxter can't believe the blindness of his government and it's so-called experts. "It's as plain as the nose on your face! The mantle is . . ." was all he managed to say before being cut off. The stern voice of the Secretary of the Interior was short and to the point, "The President is more concerned with what is happening today! Before I can take this in to him, I need more proof, more than just computer printouts. Subject closed!" "What else can go WRONG? I have an Elder from the Hopi Nation wanting to help me awaken. I'm seeing GHOSTS. The animals are TALKING to me. I MUST BE LOSING MY MIND!" Seth shouted to the four winds. "I have your proof!" Prof. Baxter attempted to show his data, "The earthquakes in New York are being caused by . . ." "It's not enough," the Secretary of the Interior said. "The President said the boys over at Department of Energy don't agree." "I'm having visions of something bad. It is worse than the New Madrid fault. Even the reptile aliens know!" Seth explained. And almost at the same time, in two different places in the United States, Seth Archer and Professor Baxter asked the same question - "IS ANYONE LISTENING?"
